Shows at Expo Park will all be free

Visitors to the upcoming Shanghai World Expo will have the chance to watch more than 170,000 live shows for free if they have an Expo ticket, and the program list for May and June is available on the official website www.expo2010.cn, the Beijing News reported Tuesday.

A total of 807 programs have been listed with 17,288 showings. The Bureau of Shanghai World Expo will organize 24 programs with 11,621 showings; participating countries will have 783 programs with 5,667 showings.

Some programs will be added to the list after the Expo opens, when there will be more than 100 showings per day on average. A total of 32 indoor and outdoor showing venues can hold 200,000 to 220,000 visitors per day.

Some hot programs require reservations as hot pavilions do, Hu Jinjun, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, told the Beijing News on Monday.
