Expo hotline starts multilingual service

The sole official Expo hotline at +86-21-962010 launched a multilingual service yesterday, covering 12 languages including English, French and Japanese.

The 24-hour hotline, operated by China Telecom in cooperation with 962288, the Shanghai Call Center, has received more than 100,000 calls since it began on May 17, 2007. Average daily calls have hit 3,400 since April.

Hotline staff can help with licensed products, ticketing, volunteer recruitment, site tours, visitor services and complaints.
