The general manager of the Donghu Property Management Company in Shanghai, Li Feng, is focused on serving guests from all around the world in the Expo Donghu service apartment hotel in the Expo Garden.

Li has worked in the industry for 30 years.

"To realize the motto of Donghu Property Management Company of Shanghai, we need to consider guests' needs," Li said.

With 2,113 rooms, Expo Donghu is one of the largest service apartment hotels in the country.

Li said service in this huge hotel can always be more considerate, delicate and refined.

"I am quite proud of what we have done in the Expo Donghu hotel," said Li.

"Guests are quite content with our meticulous services."

Li said the key to achieve guests' satisfaction lies in enthusiastic involvement of staff.

"Our staff have studied languages and cultures six months before our guests started to come," Li said.

What makes Expo Donghu different from the other hotels and service apartments is the its competitive edge and its smooth cooperation and coordination, Li said.

"We know how to communicate in what way things can be done," Li said.

As a leading property management company, Donghu has established social networks that "are important to efficient service", Li said.

In this way, Expo Donghu has set up VIP channels for guest, most of whom are also exhibitors in the Expo Garden.

Serving Expo guests is a demanding and rewarding job, Li said. "And we have also learned a lot from visiting the Expo Garden."

Li said innovations usually appear in hotels before they can be popularized in people's daily lives.

"I see that the Expo 2010 Shanghai attached great importance to environmental protection, and I think the ideas and techniques for this cause can be practiced in our hotel," Li said.

"Several facilities, including the air purifier and low-carbon air conditioner displayed in Urban Best Practices Area impressed me a lot," Li said.

"I think all of these can be applied in Donghu properties in the near future."
