Expo’s Yunnan Week opens with fanfare

Women from ethnic minorities in Southwest China’s Yunnan province wear traditional costumes to welcome visitors to Expo Garden in Shanghai on Aug 27. Yunnan Week started Friday, and during the next five days, ethnic fashion shows, musical dramas, and painting and calligraphy exhibitions will be presented to introduce the folk customs and natural scenery of Yunnan.
