Holders of Expo 2010 tickets can swap a 160-yuan (US$23.46) standard day ticket for two night tickets (90 yuan each) during the National Day holiday from Oct 1-7, the Expo Organizer has announced.
The change service is available from 4pm to 8:50 pm at all ticket offices at the Expo site.
The Organizer desginated the National Day holiday, the last week of the Expo, and last week's Mid-Autumn Festival as peak days.
The change policy, adopted in Sept 22, stipulates that one standard day ticket can be changed for two night tickets for standard days. The peak day offer is an extension of the policy.
Meanwhile, holders of standard tickets are allowed to visit the World Expo during the holiday if they pay an additional 40 yuan (US$6).
Visitors can buy Peak Day tickets at box offices near the gates or at the outlets of five Expo ticketing agents, namely China Mobile, China Telecom, Bank of Communications, China Post, and Shanghai Brilliance Group.
A standard day special ticket can be changed for a peak-day special ticket at an extra cost of 20 yuan. Three-day ticket, 7-day ticket, and mobile-phone ticket are not included in the change service.
