Share your Spring Festival photos

The most important festival of the Chinese year is upon us - Spring Festival. Don't forget to grab a camera, whenever or wherever you are, to capture those special moments during the Chinese holiday.

The China Daily website is now inviting you to share your photos with our worldwide audience.

Across the country, the Chinese have been planning for a long time to have a good time during the holidays. Visitors and guests will also get a chance to savor the Spring Festival mood in China. Send your photos, including your contact information, to our editors at photos@chinadaily.com.cn.

The only rule, make sure you capture the spirit of the festival.

File sizes should be at least 600 pixels wide for a horizontal image and 600 pixels deep for a vertical image.

Please note that the deadline is Feb 18th, 2011.

To increase the chances of your photos being selected, don't forget to add a brief caption about when and where the photo was taken. If selected, your work will be highlighted on China Daily's website and shared with readers all around the world.

We'll select the top 20 photos every day, and the winners will be awarded specially-designed China Daily souvenirs.
