HONG KONG -- Hong Kong's Hospital Authority announced Tuesday that a female patient who was infected with A/ H1N1 flu virus has died, the latest case of A/H1N1 flu-related death in the city.
According to a release by the Hospital Authority, the 62-year- old female patient who was tested positive for A/H1N1 flu virus at Princess Margaret Hospital earlier succumbed on March 21 due to continued deterioration of clinical condition.
A spokesman of the Hospital Authority said there was no new confirmed case of A/H1N1 infection and as at 2 pm Tuesday (0600 GMT), a total of three influenza patients were staying in the intensive care units of public hospitals in Hong Kong.
