No obvious change in radiation levels in China

BEIJING - China's National Nuclear Emergency Coordination Committee said Monday in a daily notice that no obvious change had been found in the levels of radioactive material in the environment and food samples on the Chinese mainland.

A sample survey also indicated no abnormality in drinking water, it said.

In its previous notices, the committee has noted that no protective measures need to be taken against contamination from these materials.
