Man detained after impersonating doctor

A man who pretended to be a doctor and touched a pregnant woman's belly in a hospital's gynecology ward in Zhejiang province has been detained.

Monitoring cameras showed that the man drove a Mercedes-Benz car to the hospital in Wenzhou's Lucheng district at around 2 pm earlier this month.

After using a washroom, he came out dressed as a doctor in a white coat and mask.

The man walked into a gynecology ward at about 2:40 pm. Three minutes later, he escaped from the ward and drove away quickly.

The man was being held in custody by local police on suspicion of molestation. He said that he examined a pregnant woman that day, lifting her clothes and touching her belly.
