CHANGSHA - A truckdriver's reckless driving led to a thirteen-car accident which left five dead and six injured in the city of Changsha in Central China's Hunan province on Monday, local police said.

After arguing with another motorist over a previous traffic accident at a construction site, the driver, surnamed Li, drove his cement mixer onto a street and ran into vehicles along the street at approximately 11 am Monday.

Three people were immediately killed and eight were injured at the scene. Two of the injured expired shortly thereafter, according to local emergency medical personnel. The remaining six injured are hospitalized in good condition.

Li has been arrested by local police, who are still investigating the scene.
