6 buried in school construction site collapse

HOHHOT - Six workers were buried and five more injured when a school construction site collapsed Sunday in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The accident occurred at 11:50 am in Wushen banner of Erdos city, and the fate of the buried were still unknown, said a spokesman for the Wushen banner government.

Rescuers are racing to search for the buried. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
