Int'l kite tournament kicks off in North China

HOHHOT - The 8th International Kite Invitational Tournament kicked off Wednesday in Xiangshawan, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The three-day tournament attracts around 200 athletes from 40 teams to compete in nine categories, including traditional kite, luminous kite, stunt kite and dragon kite.

The tournament also includes cultural events such as kite exhibition, photos exhibition and painting competition for the children.
