3 died, 21 injured after coach fell off cliff

CHENGDU - Three people were killed and 21 others injured after their coach fell off a cliff Monday in Southwest China's Sichuan Province, local authorities said.

Two people were killed on the spot after the coach fell at 3:40 pm in Wenchuan County, said a spokesman with the county government's information office.

One died later in the hospital and another seven people were seriously injured, but in stable condition, said the spokesman.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
