Man's best friend stays with him right to the end

A dog stayed with its dead owner for hours in Taiwan.

The man, a vagrant without any identity card, was found dead in a park in Taichung. Passers-by found him and the dog in one of the park's pavilions. The dog did not know his master was dead so it stayed where the man had lain and kept watch over the bicycle, clothes and shoes left by its owner.

Police later sent the dog to a local animal shelter agency.
