Senior political advisor leaves for African trip

BEIJING - Senior Chinese political advisor Wang Zhizhen left here Saturday morning for a good-will visit to Kenya, Ethiopia and Botswana.
During her visit in Kenya, Wang will attend the opening ceremony of the first China-Africa People's Forum and relevant activities.
Wang is vice chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top political advisory body, and deputy head of the Chinese Association for International Understanding.
She was accompanied by a delegation from the Chinese Association for International Understanding.
Her visit is at the invitation of the National Assembly of Kenya, the House of Federation of Ethiopia and the National Assembly of Botswana.
