Microblog of high-tech zone has over 200,000 followers

Since the Chengdu Hi-tech Zone opened its microblog in weibo.com in early April, the number of its followers has exceeded 200,000, higher than that of the microblog of any other State-level high-tech zone in the country, says Tang Jiqiang, a leading official with the zone.
The microblog releases major industrial news, and policies pertaining to technological innovation, entrepreneurship, employment and livelihood.
It serves mainly firms, employees and residents in the zone as well as netizens interested in the zone, Tang says.
