HANGZHOU - Five people were killed and seven others injured after eight trucks crashed together on a mist-shrouded highway in Zhejiang province on Saturday, local authorities said.
The accident happened at around 6 am at the Shaoxing section of the G60 highway, firefighters said.
Five people were killed at the scene. The seven injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals.
An initial probe has indicated that a lack of visibility from the fog was the primary factor that led to the accident.
