BEIJING - Wang Yi, top Chinese mainland official for Taiwan affairs, will visit Japan after participating in the 19th Leaders' Meeting of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum held in Hawaii.
The State Council's Taiwan Affairs Office made the announcement on Sunday.
Wang, director of both the Taiwan Work Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, is visiting from November 14-16, it said.
