7 dead in three road accidents in NW China

LANZHOU - Seven people died and another 15 were injured in three consecutive accidents early Saturday morning in Gangu county, northwest China's Gansu province, local police said.
The three accidents happened on a section of the Tianshui-Dingxi Highway, which was slick due to snow. The injured have been sent to a local hospital, local police said.
The stretch of road where the accidents occurred has been closed.
The cause of the accidents is under investigation.
