BEIJING - China's State Council, or Cabinet, on Monday announced a number of new appointments and dismissals in a reshuffle of various departments.
Hu Cunzhi was appointed vice-minister of land and resources, replacing Yun Xiaosu. Gan Zangchun was appointed deputy director of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, replacing Gao Fengtao.
Yin Li was appointed director of the State Food and Drug Administration, replacing Shao Mingli. Shao was also removed from his post as vice minister of health.
Fu Jianhua was appointed director of the State Administration of Coal Mine Safety, replacing Zhao Tiechui. Zhao was also removed from his post as deputy director of the State Administration of Work Safety.
In addition, Lian Weiliang was appointed vice minister in charge of National Development and Reform Commission. Wang Bao'an was appointed vice-finance minister.
The State Council also appointed Yang Jianping and Lin Wu as deputy directors of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
At the same time, Zhang Delin was removed from his post of chairman of the Board of Supervisors for Key Large-Sized State-Owned Enterprise, and was replaced by Gao Fengtao.
