Women seek balance in career, family

According to a survey by Zhilian Recruiting, a Chinese human resources firm, 77.6 percent of women long for a balance between career and family. However, 62 percent spend more than half of their time working, China Women's News reported Wednesday.
Yan Xiaofeng, editor in chief of New Weekly, said, "70 percent of men recognize that their mate can surpass them at work."
"However, nearly 20 percent of professional women choose not to have children when their promotions conflict with pregnancies," he said.
