Man to sit gaokao in detention house

A man in Danzhou city, Hainan province is likely to sit his college entrance exam under detention this year.

As a graduating student from a local senior high school, the man, surnamed Zhao, was detained after a girl student of the school reported to the police that he had raped her.

Zhao is alleged to have been beating and raping the girl for about a year.
