While Chinese society is condemning and protesting a recent trip by Tokyo officials to illegally survey the waters near China's Diaoyu Islands, many Chinese netizens are "sincerely" inviting a Japanese actress to set foot on the islands.

Aoi Sola, a singer and former adult movie actress who is well-known in China, asked on Sept 4 for suggestions from her 13 million followers on Sina Weibo about where she should go sight-seeing in China.

Within two days, the tweet was forwarded more than 87,000 times and commented on 51,000 times - and most of the micro blog users suggested she could visit the Diaoyu Islands.

Many micro-bloggers have "kept the formation" when forwarding and commenting – identically posting no more than three Chinese characters reading "the Diaoyu Islands."

The humorous way of stressing China's ownership of the islands also carries some straightforward declarations.

Though the actress had never mentioned a word about politics, many have educated her about the history of the dispute and urged her to use her influence in Japan to stop the Japanese government from destroying Sino-Japanese relations.
