Aimed at attracting returnees to work in the province, the week-long event will offer investment opportunities in high-tech startups, entrepreneurship contests and meetings on information technology, biomedicine and research.
About 150 talents from overseas will present projects and talk with more than 120 companies in the province. Of the participants, 80 percent have PhDs.
The provincial government now offers innovative professionals subsidies of at least 200,000 yuan to help them start businesses, officials said.
