JINAN - Rescuers are searching for four fishermen who reportedly went missing with their boat off the coast of East China's Shandong province early Monday, a provincial maritime and fishery official said on Wednesday.
The wooden vessel, registered in Rushan city, Shandong, was reported to have gone missing in seawater 70 nautical miles off the coast of Qingdao city by three other fishing boats in the area early on Monday, the official said.
The boat had five fishermen on board. Maritime rescuers found one body Tuesday afternoon in the seawater where the boat "disappeared". The body has not yet been identified.
