BEIJING - Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) leader Liu Yunshan on Thursday said CPC leaders will be examined regularly on the changes in their work style and the results will be made public.

Liu, a newly elected member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks in a meeting on Party building.

He said unremitting efforts must be made to implement the eight measures to improve officials' work style put forward in a meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee on December 4.

In the meeting, the newly elected leadership adopted a document issuing explicit requirements on how Political Bureau members should improve their work style in eight aspects.

In a bid to win the trust and support of the people, the new leadership has pledged to reject extravagance and reduce bureaucratic visits and meetings.
