More than 100 rangers in Changbai Mountain, Jilin province, are feeding wild animals to help them get through the winter, the Changbai Mountain Protection and Development Zone said.

The local government has set up 90 feeding sites for large wild animals and 200 sites for wild birds. They plan to do five large-scale feedings until the end of March.

Changbai Mountains lie in the junction of Jilin, Liaoning and Heilongjiang provinces. The area is famous for having 1,588 types of wild animals such as Siberian tigers, sika deers and black bears.
