Xi advocates study, practice among CPC members

It has made extraordinary contributions to safeguarding Party ideology and promoting theoretical innovation, he said.
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Party school is to carry forward its glorious traditions and encourage it to contribute more to cadre training, the construction of Party theory and the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics, he said.
The gathering was presided over by Liu Yunshan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and president of the Party school.
Liu said Xi's speech forcefully mobilized the entire Party to study.
Liu asked Party officials to take heed of Xi's remarks, make efforts to adopt study as a political responsibility and a lifestyle, and set good examples in both study and practice.
