US Treasury Secretary to visit China
BEIJING - US Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew will pay a visit to China on March 19-20, as the special representative of US President Barack Obama.
"China welcomes Lew's visit", said the Ministry of Finance in a press release on Monday.
During the visit, Lew will meet with China's state leaders and hold talks with relevant senior government officials, according to the Ministry.
Lew, the former White House Chief of Staff, was selected by Obama succeeding Timothy Geithner, and his nomination was confirmed by US Senate last month.
