Acrobatics, song performance held in Macao
A global tour featuring Chinese acrobatics, songs and dance performances received a warm welcome in Macao, when it visited the city's Forum de Macau on Thursday night.
Performed by more than 30 artists, including China's finest singers Dong Wenhua and Yan Weiwen, the gala performance attracted a packed audience of around 3,000, including Edmund Ho Hau-wah, the first chief executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region.
The show marked the end of this year's global performance tour named Culture of China, Festival of Spring, an annual event launched by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of China's State Council to entertain overseas Chinese during the Chinese Lunar New Year season since 2009.
