Radio edition of Voice of China premieres
Popular reality-TV talent show Voice of China launched the radio edition of the program on May 13 in Beijing.
On the occasion of the show's second season, FM — the Voice of China will be on the air twice a day for a half-hour each, once in the morning and once in the evening, on Monday through Friday.
The radio show aims to promote the TV program, which is broadcast every Friday night.
In addition, between 10 am and noon every Saturday, the show's coaches and contestants will join the radio program to tell backstage stories.
The radio program, with an investment of 100 million yuan ($16.3 million), will be broadcast on China National Radio's FM 101.8 starting May 27, and over 100 radio stations across the country will join the broadcast.
