It's a girl!
Giant panda Er Yatou licks her newborn at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Pandas Breeding in Sichuan province on July 10, 2013. The 20-year-old giant panda gave birth to a female calf at the Chengdu center. The newborn weighs 105 grams and is in good condition. It is the first panda calf this year in Chengdu.
