Senior official expelled from CPC, public office

BEIJING - Wang Suyi, former senior official of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) and dismissed from public office, the Party's discipline agency announced Wednesday.

Wang was investigated for serious discipline violations, the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) said in a statement.
