Former official probed for corruption, expelled from Party

A former senior official in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region has been expelled from the Party and dismissed from his post, the country's top anti-graft agency announced on Wednesday.

Wang Suyi, former head of the region's united front work department, is accused of accepting bribes through his relatives and personally, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China announced on Wednesday afternoon.
