Welcome to join us on the China Daily Forum for further discussions.
Chinese economy will be relatively better than the rest of the world. The lower valued added manufacturer like shoes, garments and cheap household items are geting eased out by lower subcontractors like Vietnam Cambodia, Bangladesh but China is shifting into more value added products like motors, cell phones, telecmmunications so that they become the ultimate consumer and engine that drives the world financial economy wihout having to go to war. In my mind, if China managed to its food, air, water, cyber security and iarrest the moral decay that is plaguing a large once impoverish nation who suddenly become rich then, the respect can make this journey less perilous and more productive for the sake of future peace.
By the way, inspite of all the publicity, China is the largest gold producer in the world and the Oyu Tolgoi reserve in Mongolain have the world largest copper, coal and gold reserve that is just next door to China. China also control 90 % of rare earth mineral that goes into electronics. At he same time Kazahkstan and Russia is alligning with China to feed China's thirst for oil & metals in exchange for a wide range of expertise and resources China can uplift their population into the realm of the 21st century. I would not be surprised that Russia, Islamic steppes Nations, China and North Korea would allign themsleves in an Arctic shield for mutual protection of their ceiling. So China is on the way forward...IF each citizen move in synch with the probervial chinese patience and stoic determination.
