Gansu to create food information platform

Northwest China's Gansu province will set up a food information platform to ensure agricultural products are traceable from producer to retailer.

The provincial government issued four documents about food safety on Jan 29, Lanzhou Evening News reported on Tuesday.

The documents detail measures on how to make information on agricultural products traceable, how to make those responsible for food-related problems liable and how to deal with food safety emergencies in an aim to advance food safety.
