The conflict between Li Yang, known for his language-learning method Crazy English, and his ex-wife Kim Lee from the United States remains unresolved.

The division of property between the former couple has not been settled. Beijing Chaoyang District People's Court had a hearing on Thursday to discuss the issue, Beijing News reported.

Lee came to the court at 8:20 am on Thursday and about 30 minutes later, Li appeared, the report said.

Li also said he has paid compensation to his ex-wife, but Lee disputed those claims, the report said.

The hearing was not open to the public.

On Feb 3, 2013, the couple divorced and Li was asked to pay Lee more than 12 million yuan ($1.9 million) in compensation. Meanwhile, Lee got custody of their three children and Li was required to give 100,000 yuan for each kid as their annual upbringing fees until they turn 18.

Lee decided to divorce Li after he physically abused her. She posted photos of her injuries on her micro blog in 2011, arousing the public's attention.

As the judgment took effect, Lee applied a compulsory execution to the court. Later, Li paid 2.6 million yuan to Lee.

But the two still disagreed on division of property, the report added.
