Signal problems strand commuters in Beijing

During the Wednesday morning rush hour, a signal malfunction at Bajiao Amusement Park Station on Beijing's Line 1 at 7:50 am caused some trains to be delayed. Beijing Mass Transit Railway Operation Corp warned passengers about the problems on its official micro blog earlier in the morning.

Also, at 7:30 am, trains on Line 1 between Sihui station and Pingguoyuan station ran slowly because of equipment problems that stranded many commuters, according to Xinhua's official micro blog.

The subway line returned to normal at 8:03 am.
