An 18-year-old woman who injured an elderly man in a bike accident in Beijing has been offered a job by the man's family, Beijing News reported on Friday.
Shi Fangli, a migrant worker in Beijing, was riding an electric bike in Yanjiao, Hebei province, on Feb 13, when she collided with 76-year-old Han Jian, who was also riding a bike.
She immediately had the injured Han taken to a hospital, and quit her job two days later to look after Han as compensation.
Informed of Shi's straitened family circumstance, Han and his family gave up their compensation claims and offered Shi a new job as a caddie in a golf course.
