Hubei political adviser expelled from Party

BEIJING - Chen Baihuai, a senior political adviser in central China's Hubei Province, has been expelled from the Communist Party of China (CPC) and removed from public office for suspected dereliction of duty and taking bribes, the CPC's discipline agency said Friday.

Chen formerly served as vice chairman of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
