RAL, a German-based indoor color coordination company, opened its Beijing office on Thursday, its first in Asia.
"We want to participate more in the Chinese market, to strengthen cooperation with our Chinese partners, and spread the most updated color knowledge to our Chinese customers," said Wolf D Karl, chairman of RAL.
The company published two books in China in the past two years featuring the use of indoor color. One focused on bringing healthy colors to areas such as recreation centers, hospitals and kindergartens.
RAL entered the Chinese market more than 10 years ago. The company now has five distribution partners in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Its business in Beijing will work in corporation with the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China.
