A tourist allegedly stabbed two salesclerks in a Shanghai shopping mall in a dispute over the price of a facial lotion on Thursday morning, Shanghai Morning Post reported.
Witnesses said the tourist, from a Northeast China province, quarreled and fought with the salesclerks at the shopping mall on East Nanjing Road after complaining the 20 yuan ($3) cream was too expensive.
He took out a knife and stabbed the male salesclerk in the thigh and the woman in the waist, police said. They were sent to the hospital and were in stable condition.
Police are still looking for the suspect.
