Anti-graft agencies accused of underutilizing micro blogs

The few micro blogs run by the country's lower-level anti-graft agencies have been accused of being inactive or lacking transparency.

Only nine of the Chinese mainland's 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities have opened micro blogs to release anti-graft information for the Party’s Commission for Discipline Inspection, China Youth Daily reported.

Even though the Jilin Provincial CDI registered two micro blogs in June, the commission has never released any information on the micro blogs.

Henan Provincial CDI has 1.24 million followers for its official micro blog, the largest following for all the provincial commissions, while the Jilin Provincial CDI only has 208 followers on its micro blog account.
