Thousands of visitors and local residents attend a Songkran Festival, an annual water-splashing event in celebration of the New Year in the Dai ethnic people's calendar, which falls on April 15 this year, in Jinghong city, Xishuangbanna Dai autonomous prefecture, Southwest China's Yunnan province.
