Fire extinguished in Dalian apartment building

The photo shows dense smoke rising after an apartment building at Xinghai Square caught fire at around 11 am, in Dalian city, East China's Liaoning province. Dalian Radio and Television reported on its official Weibo account the fire broke out near an air conditioning brackets machine between the fifth and the sixth floors. It appeared that welding work may have started the fire, which quickly ripped through the exterior of the 34-floor building, the Weibo account quoted a witness as saying.
