ZHENGZHOU - Two former officials from central China's Henan Province are under investigation for serious disciplinary violations, the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s anti-graft authority said on Friday.
Liu Guoqing, former party secretary of Zhumadian City, had worked in provincial public security departments since June 1995. He became deputy party secretary of the provincial Department of Public Security before being appointed deputy party secretary of Zhumadian City. Liu became the city's party secretary in April last year.
Zhao Yaping, former member of the standing committee of the Henan Provincial People's Congress, had been former Henan Local Taxation Bureau chief.
