BEIJING - Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met here on Tuesday with a visiting delegation of young cadres of the United Russia party.
Li said China stands ready to work with Russia to implement the consensus of the two countries' leaders in expanding and deepening practical cooperation.
And the Communist Party of China would like to enhance exchanges and cooperation with the United Russia party to bolster the relationship between young cadres, so as to pass the China-Russia friendship down through generations, he added.
Delegation leader Sergey Zheleznyak, who is the deputy secretary of the United Russia party's general council and deputy chairman of the Russian parliament's lower house, expressed willingness to enhance inter-party exchanges and cooperation, and contribute to bilateral ties.
