BEIJING - Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed four new ambassadors, according to a statement issued by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) on Wednesday.
Xi made the appointments in line with decisions made by the Standing Committee of the NPC, China's top legislature.
Hong Xiaoyong has been appointed ambassador to Vietnam, replacing Kong Xuanyou.
Xie Feng has been appointed ambassador to Indonesia, replacing Liu Jianchao.
Wen Zhenshun has been appointed ambassador to Macedonia, replacing Cui Zhiwei.
Luo Zhaohui has been appointed ambassador to Canada, replacing Zhang Junsai.
