An exit restriction has been requested against the daughter of Li Ao, the famous Taiwan writer, because she delayed rent payment and allegedly damaged and sold property without authorization of its owner, The Mirror newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The daughter, Li Wen, signed a rental contract on June 28, 2013, with a resident surnamed Ma to rent Ma's villa in Beijing's Shunyi district for three years, the report said. However, Ma alleged, Li did not pay the rent in time and sold and damaged Ma's property without Ma's permission.

Ma applied for arbitration by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, which ruled on April 25 that Li should return the house she rented to Ma and pay the rent, late fees and lost compensation to Ma.

Because Li did not do so, Ma asked the city's No. 3 court to enforce the arbitration and restrict Li's exit. The court announced on Monday that it had accepted the case.
