For the past nine years, a primary school teacher in Jinan, the capital of Shandong province, has been documenting his students' childhoods with more than 60,000 photos, Shandong TV reported on Friday.
Li Weili, 45, became a teacher at the primary school when he was 23 years old and has taught more than 3,000 pupils over the past 22 years. From 2009, he began photographing his pupils to document their stages of growth from the first to the sixth grade. The photos are records of the pupils' natural and relaxed demeanors.
Li took the photos with his own money and gave them as gifts to the pupils when they graduated from the school.
